Your contribution to LFA helps us keep hunt membership affordable as well as to cover the cost of hound care, required insurance coverage, and amenities at our primary hunt fixture, such as running water and a heated building.

Why LFA is Important

The Fort Leavenworth Hunt is a military hunt and is supported as an approved Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (FMWR) organization. Our pack, which is property of the Army, resides in a kennel on post. This, along with the fact that our huntsman and staff are all volunteers, helps reduce the cost of operating the hunt. However, there are many costs associated with providing sport to our members that are not covered by FMWR or FLH membership dues.

The Leavenworth Foxhunters Association is a 501(c)(7) not-for-profit social club dedicated to the promotion of interest in the sport of foxhunting, with a particular focus on FLH. LFA funds cover costs that FLH cannot pay for directly, including the cost of utilities at our primary hunt fixture, equipment for maintaining hunted property, hound care, and insurance to protect our landowners. (FLH members who do not join LFA are not covered by insurance and not eligible to ride off post/at our regular fixtures.)

Donate Supplies

We welcome donations of kennel supplies! Donations may be delivered directly to the kennel at the address below, dropped off at the kennel, or given to a staff member during a hunt. Check your most recent hunt email or visit our Amazon wish list for a current list of items needed.
