Thursday (10/9): North Hills Hunt at Division Ranch

Friday (10/10): Flint Hills Hunt at Matfield Green

Saturday (10/11): Fort Leavenworth Hunt at Settlers Acre

Fees

Capping is 75 dollars per day or 350 dollars for the week. Capping fees are waived for members of participating hunts.

Fin & Feather

Mission Valley Hunt’s primary fixture is located at 13625 W 299th Street in Paola, KS. The terrain includes open fields, wooded areas, stream crossings, a few steep hills, and plenty of coops. Jumping and non-jumping fields are available. Water is available onsite and the Fin & Feather clubhouse offers restrooms and ample seating.

Flint Hills Fixtures

Our Flint Hills fixtures feature wide open spaces and rolling hills dotted with draws, ponds, and a few wooded areas. You can really see the hounds work out there! There are no coops, but you may encounter some ditches or gullies. We will have a first and second field, but with the open terrain, once hounds are on line things move fast and we cover a lot of ground, so a fit horse is a must!

Thursday we will hunt from the north side of Division Ranch (enter via DD road from K177). We will meet up at the Flint Hills Rodeo grounds at 7:45am and convoy from there.

We will be at our Matfield Green fixture (just outside the town of Matfield Green) on Friday. We will meet at the Casey’s at 424 N Walnut Street in Cottonwood Falls) at 7:30am and convoy from there.

Saturday we will hunt from Settlers Acre (2295 280th Rd., Emploria, KS), the home of FHH huntsman Jim and Carlie Beisel. **Do NOT listen to your GPS if it tells you to take XX road. Here are simple directions: Seven miles west of I35 in Emporia take YY north. Go five miles north on YY to 280th St. Go west on 280th three miles.**

Where to Stay/Board

For the Fin & Feather fixture, lodging is available in Paola. We will provide information on boarding options as soon as possible.
